Nothing Moved

Every piece here came out of a building that no longer exists. Nell Ashgrove keeps the demolition notices, the addresses and the dates, and they were shown beside the work at the same size as the work.

She has said she will not exhibit a piece without its provenance note, and this exhibition is where that rule became visible: two works were withdrawn during the hang because the paperwork could not be found.
