Marguerite Oyelaran

Works in unfired clay and slip, at a scale that means most of what she makes does not survive being moved. The pieces are built on site and taken apart afterwards, and what leaves the room is a set of photographs and a quantity of dust.

Trained in Lagos and Cardiff. Has shown here three times since 2021, each time building in the smaller room, which she prefers because the floor is stone and she can wet it.
